Neural Networks

At the end of my studies in Experimental Psychology, I developed a big interest in neural networks and robotics. So, I decided to study a novel field at the time: how the complexity and the dimension of neural systems interact to let intelligent behaviour emerge. I trained, using genetic algorithms, some simulated robots to do some tasks. Then I analyzed the resulting networks, to quantify their complexity. Interestingly but not surprisingly, the complexity is more correlated to intelligent behaviours than the dimension.
